World's most spectacular geysers pictures

Very rare and one of the most spectacular natural phenomenon, Geyser is a spring characterized by intermittent discharge of water ejected turbulently and accompanied by a vapor phase (steam).
The formation of geysers is due to particular hydrogeological conditions, which exist in only a few places on Earth, so they are a fairly rare phenomenon. Generally all geyser field sites are located near active volcanic areas, and the geyser effect is due to the proximity of magma.

#1) Beehive Geyser is a geyser in the Upper Geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park in the United States. The 4-foot (1.2 m) tall cone resembles a beehive. Beehive's Indicator is a small, jagged cone-type geyser located about 10 feet (3.0 m) from Beehive.

#2) Castle Geyser is a cone geyser in the Upper Geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park. It is noted for the particularly large geyserite sinter deposits, which form its cone. These deposits have been likened in appearance to a castle.

#3) The Great Fountain Geyser is a fountain-type geyser located in the Firehole Lake area of Lower Geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. It is the only predicted geyser in the Lower Geyser Basin.

#4) Sol de Mañana is a geothermal field in Sur Lípez Province in the Potosi Department of south-western Bolivia. It extends over 10 km², between 4800m and 5000m height.

#5) Turban Geyser is a geyser in the Upper Geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park in the United States. It belongs to the Grand Group, and its eruption is tied to Grand Geyser. In the hours prior to Grand's eruption, Turban will have five minute eruptions every 15–25 minutes.

#6) Geyser eruption in Rotorua, New Zealand. Rotorua is a geothermal hotspot. It was particularly concentrated in this geothermal park. This is the Prince of Charles Geyser, which is quite accurate with it's eruptions.

#7) White Dome Geyser is a geyser located in the Lower Geyser Basin in Yellowstone National Park in the United States. White Dome is a conspicuous cone-type geyser located only a few feet from Fire hole Lake Drive, and accordingly, seen by many visitors to the park as they wait for eruptions of nearby Great Fountain Geyser. Its 12-foot-high geyserite cone is one of the largest in the park.

#8) Strokkur (meaning "The Churn" in Icelandic) is a geyser in the hot spring area of Haukadalur (Falcon Valley) in southern Iceland. Strokkur erupts very reliably every 5-10 minutes, hurling boiling water to heights of up to 20 metres.

#9) In Soda Springs, Idaho you will find the only captive geyser in the world. The town accidentally found it when they were searching for a hot water source for a swimming pool and water from an underground chamber was suddenly unleashed into the air. The extreme pressure of the water is caused by carbon dioxide mixing with water in the earth below. Staying at an almost constant temperature of 72 degrees, the water is now controlled by a timer and erupts every hour. The geyser reaches heights of up to 100 feet.
